What's New

New this past Spring and really popular is a great new book about the Hatteras Island way of life:

Hatteras Island, Keeper of the Outer Banks by Ray McAllister.

Ray has done a great job of capturing the flavor of the island lifestyle of days gone and bringing the contemporary Hatteras to life. You'll find it uner the Hatteras Bookshelf tab at left.

Another book of local interest is back in print after 12 years away. It is the most wonderful fish identification guide ever! Fishes of the Southeastern United States by Duane Raver and Chuck Manooch is full of glorious fish illustrations and text. Covering both fresh and salt water this guide is a quality hard cover that retails for $39.95. It's not registered to be ordered online yet so you'll need to call us at the phone numbers on the left or send us an Email. We have plenty of copies in stock and will get one right out to you.
